Austin Hill is an author, talk show host, small business owner and consultant.As a talk show host, Austin has been heard on some of America’s finest talk radio outlets including KFI AM 640 in Los Angeles; 105-9 FM WMAL in Washington DC, XM Satellite Radio and the Fox Newstalk Radio Network.
He is the creator and host of “Austin Hill’s Big World of Small Business,” heard on great talk radio outlets in the U.S., and of AustinsBigWorld.Com.
Austin writes frequently about issues confronting small business and the economy. He is the author of the recent book, “THE VIRTUES OF CAPITALISM: A Moral Case For Free Markets”(Northfield: 2010); and his editorial writing has appeared in publications nationwide, including US News & World Report, The Orange County Register, and CNN.Com. His commitment to small business also extends to our next generation of young entrepreneurs, as he serves his local chapter of the international non-profit organization “Students In Free Enterprise (S.I.F.E.)” as a senior advisor.
As a consultant and owner of Hill Communications, LLC., Austin works extensively with both for-profit and non-profit organizations in a variety of capacities. He has consulted professional and service-based businesses with expanding their brand awareness and revenues, and has worked with non-profit charitable organizations with enhancing their community outreach and donor bases. Most recently, Austin advised a New York-based tech start-up firm on the integration of their new mobile telecommunications technology with traditional, analog broadcast technology.
Austin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and an M.A. in Philosophy from Biola University, La Mirada, CA. He lives with his wife and son in Boise, Idaho.
